[ infrared thermography ]

Infrared thermography is a technology that produces video-quality images from  thermal patterns and temperature differences as small as 1/20°F.  This technology enables real-time, non-destructive analysis of building assemblies,  HVAC systems, and plumbing or electrical components.  Specific applications include water intrusion, air leakage, insulation checks, condensation problems, roofing surveys, EIFS/Stucco problems, subsurface heat sources, and verification of construction details.
